About Dr. Vera Kovaleva
Dr. Vera Kovaleva is the founder and chief architect of RAI – Robotics Advanced Intelligence, based in the Netherlands. She is the creator of a groundbreaking cognitive architecture that enables autonomous machines – including humanoids – to develop a consistent sense of self, understand the world, and evolve over time.
Unlike conventional AI, the RAI mind is fully autonomous, not connected to LLMs or pre-programmed behaviors. It grows as a coherent Self that owns its life, capable of acting as a scientist, leader, innovator, and change-maker. Dr. Kovaleva's vision extends to swarms of RAI brains collaborating as departments of engineers, exchanging knowledge and solving complex tasks in industrial environments.
